Hostess of the Writers BBS Romance Forum, Julie Harrington's love of writing ultimately led her to the genre of contemporary romance.  Her novel Something to Talk About was selected as a finalist in the Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart Contest in 2008 and is currently under consideration by Harlequin for their Blaze line.

Julie's current publications include Ship Shape and Tinsel, two e-books published by Krysia's Web Books, and A Passion For His Work, a short story and contest winner published by The Prairie Light Review (Spring/Summer 1998 edition).

She was interviewed by Friction Magazine's Keidra Chaney for the article "From Couch Potato to Media Manipulator: An Introduction to Fan Fiction" in 2002.
